About me
I am Jesús Moreo . I was born in Barcelona in 1952. I currently have the privilege of living in a beautiful town in the Aragonese Pyrenees, surrounded by its impressive valleys, mountains, and landscapes full of inspiration. I have two twin sons.
My passion is the creation of unique pieces for unique spaces, exclusive decorative objects, natural lamps, living landscapes and kusamonos, combining floral art, sculpture and structures of different sizes and styles, working with materials of natural origin such as wood, stone and iron. , most of them collected by hand in the beautiful landscapes of the Aragonese Pyrenees, at the foot of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.
Each of my works is unique and exclusive; No wood marrow, root or stone can be found identically in nature.
A florist by profession, I began my career specializing in floral art, ikebanas and kusamonos. I had my own flower shop “La Palmera” in the Horta neighborhood in Barcelona for more than 20 years.
At that time, in addition to floral arrangements, I began my journey in decoration, combining floral arrangements with sculptures and different structures, decorating shop windows, shopping centers, and halls of different important hotels in the city and surrounding areas.
I did my first exhibitions in Barcelona, highlighting those in the multicultural spaces La Rosa de Foc and Casa Elizalde, among others.
For 12 years I participated in the “Girona Temps de Flors” week, making ikebanas, sculptures and structures, according to the inspirational motif of the exhibition. I also participated in various exhibitions in other towns in the area such as Caldes de Malavella, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Fonells de la Selva.
A few years later life took me to Sobrarbe, a region of the Aragonese Pyrenees surrounded by spectacular natural landscapes. In love with the beauty of the area, I began to be inspired by its landscapes and use the natural materials that the environment offered me: dry roots, trunks, wood marrow, stones, old iron... and I became passionate about making lamps, fountains and sculptures. , always taking advantage of materials from the Pyrenees.
There I held several exhibitions. The most notable were RenovArte in Abizanda, SobrarVerde in the Sala Caballerizas de Ainsa, and Micropaisejes in the municipal hall of Laspuña.
Most of my creations are commissioned, but I also have a small selection of pieces that I create when I find unique materials and inspiring shapes on my walks in the mountains. These works are what you will find cataloged on this website. If you are interested in purchasing any of them, do not hesitate to contact me.
Tell me without obligation what you need, what idea you have and where you want it, and together we will create a unique and unrepeatable work.
